Gold Peg Dosing Systems allow for improved final product moisture consistency and maximising yield.

Also used for ingredients addition to increase yield and/or to create product variations.

Moisture Control Unit

The Gold Peg™ Moisture Control Unit is designed to assist managing the finished product moisture by dosing additional liquid.

This equipment has the ability to adjust product moisture continuously in-line while the product is being processed. The Gold Peg™ Moisture Control Unit (MCU) uses a dosing pump to deliver a set amount of liquid (water, flavour colour) into the process line or into the RotaTherm® continuous cooker – generally through a lower steam injector.
