Gold Peg and Natec at interpack 2017
As mentioned in this blog post, Gold Peg will be exhibiting in conjunction with its new partner Natec under the Hochland-Natec Group. This new partnership will propel you on the path of success!
This is an exciting debut of two global brands coming together under the one Hochland-Natec umbrella, and will demonstrate the perfect fit between Gold Peg’s continuous cooking equipment and Natec’s packaging equipment.
The RotaTherm® is the ideal cooking equipment for processed cheese, and as such, perfectly precedes Natec’s FreeSlice and Freepack in a processing line.
At interpack, this equipment will be represented together to show how Gold Peg and Natec can combine to form the entire complete production and packaging line.
Often, customers seek out a single supplier for the entire line, so it is great that Gold Peg and Natec have joined forces under the Hochland-Natec Group!
The RotaTherm® continuous cooking system is a fully sealed hygienic system that produces shelf stable products.
Features of the RotaTherm® that improve safety and hygiene:
- Fully enclosed system that prevents foreign ingredient introduction
- Efficient even heating and cooking for microbiological safety (compare to a batch cooker)
- A hygienic production process that improves not only the quality of a product, but its shelf life, too
FreePack and FreeSlice
Natec’s FreePack packaging equipment is ideally suited for IWS (Individually Wrapped Slices) processed cheese for retail. The risk of contamination during packaging is removed using the hot-fill system.
The FreeSlice 1500 is for SOS (Slice On Slice) processed cheese used in food services such as fast food restaurants. An integrated laminar flow system results in safe and trouble-free production without any danger of recontamination. The FreeSlice is USDA approved.
