About foodpro 2017
More than 360 exhibitors from around the world will gather at one of Australia’s largest trade shows. In fact, foodpro is Australasia’s only event dedicated to the food and beverage processing and manufacturing industry.
Did you know that all exhibitor space sold out three months before the event? It’s set to be a big one; you don’t want to miss out!
Over four jam-packed days, those working in the food and beverage manufacturing industry have the opportunity to network with fellow professionals from all over the world.
foodpro is a trade-only show, and as such, admission is FREE for professionals employed in the food and beverage industry. However, you must register – you can do so right here!
The expo is split into three core themes:
- 1. Processing and packaging equipment
- 2. Science, technology, and ingredients
- 3. Plant equipment
These themes are further segmented into six “zones”, each representing key stages of the food manufacturing process. These zones are:
- Food science and technology
- Processing equipment
- Plant equipment
- Supply chain integration

The continuous cooking equipment we’re presenting at foodpro
GPiCS (natural mozzarella)
Gold Peg’s GPiCS Mozzarella Cooker Stretcher was created to fill a void for sensitive products like mozzarella and pasta filata.
With the same continuous Direct Steam Injection cooking technology known in our RotaTherm®, the GPiCS has been specially designed to maintain the integrity of a sensitive product like mozzarella.
This patented system has the added advantage of no bath cook water, which is not only environmentally friendlier, but results in improved taste, quality, freshness, and shelf life.
Twin RotaTherm® Continuous Cooking System (processed cheese)
The RotaTherm® is the world’s leading direct steam injection (DSI) continuous cooker.
The Twin version delivers the same precise control and automation combined with DSI cooking ensures you create an optimal product in terms of texture, taste, and quality as well as seriously long run times of 156 hours (that’s 6.5 days)!
Our long-lasting equipment is stationed in food production plants all over the world, operating just as they have from day one!
A Twin RotaTherm® Cooking system offers 156 hours non-stop production.
RotaTherm® Continuous Cooking System (sauces, baby food, purees and more)
For the efficient production of high quality sauces, soups, and dips, our RotaTherm® system is ideal.
Thanks to precise control and fast product changeover, manufacturers choose DSI cooking to churn out a large variety of consistent and quality products (SKUs) at high volumes.
Its customisable settings make it suitable for both smooth sauces and sauces with particulates.
Vacuum cooling system (dairy – processed cheese, homogenous sauces & more)
Vacuum cooling effectively and rapidly cools a cooked product to the required filling temperature. Rapid vacuum cooling contributes to density management and maintaining the freshly cooked product’s colour, quality, and flavour.
