About Hochland Group
Hochland Group has been operating for more than 90 years and is a family-run business centered on cheese expertise. From day one, it has focused exclusively on the production, refinement, and sale of cheese.
Hochland Group facts
- 13 production sites across Europe and North America
- More than 4400 employees
- Hochland cheese is sold in more than 30 countries
The Group is based in the German municipality of Heimenkirch which is in the beautiful region of Allgäu. Allgäu is located about 100km southwest of Munich, close to the Austrian border.
Natec was founded in 1927 under the Hochland name, but it wasn’t until 1974 that Hochland founded its own equipment manufacturing facility. This facility was the birth of Natec.
The Natec facility is located right by the Hochland cheese production site in Heimenkirch.
Natec food processing equipment
The Natec FreePack machinery produces individually wrapped process cheese slices (IWS).
